The membership of the Academy includes ecumenically active clergy and laity as well as professors and students. It is an "Academy" by virtue of its members' shared concern for the theological reflection and scholarship that must accompany the movement toward mutual religious understanding and the unity of the Christian churches.

Membership is for one year, June 1st to May 31st, or portion thereof. Please indicate clearly the year of membership in all correspondence.

all memberships include a subscription to the Journal of Ecumenical Studies (JES).
Student & Special membership is for students in an accredited degree program, retirees, and those with low-income needs.
